The federal government has revealed plans to launch a MyHospitals website next month.
The website is being created as part of the COAG agreement and will provide clear information about all public hospitals in Australia, excluding Western Australia which declined to be part of the agreement in April.
According to a statement from the Department of Health and Ageing, the site will “provide an unprecedented level of transparency” and comes after the government’s My Schools website was launched in January this year.
The announcement comes as the Department of Health and Ageing last month began advertising for the position of e-health CIO.
